Types of San Antonio Sprinkler Systems

Most of the home fires occur due to lack of proper fire safety systems. The fire systems have to be automatic as fire can happen anytime. San Antonio Sprinkler Systems are the best automatic fire control systems. Many high rise homes and offices have these systems in place. There are basically four types of fire sprinkler systems. The first one is the wet pipe system.

In the event of fire the system will deploy water till the whole catchment of water is exhausted. The second kind of system is the dry pipe system. In such system the sprinkler heads are operated by pressurized air or nitrogen. These systems are mostly used in cold climates.

The third kind of San Antonio Sprinkler Systems is the deluge sprinkler system. In this kind of system the fire detection unit is placed in the sprinkler head. The advantage of such a system is that the water discharge is instantaneous. The fourth type is the pre-action type. This type is the most advanced version as it prevents water discharge in case of a false fire alarm.
